In 2002 I started this trend
In 2002 I started this trend
I guess that it can never end
So trying to be early rather than late
I'll bring you all up to date
I worked for a while doing inventory
Can't say it was my shining glory
We scanned in pictures for photo books
It was fun seeing all those long ago looks
I started a blog to keep track of our menus
But now it's pretty much all of our venues
Some skiing in winter although snow was light
The best days were when it was sunny and bright
In April we were in The Villages again
On the way down we stopped to see family and friends
Michael turned 50 with parties galore
Atlanta and Boston and maybe some more?
Laura turned 40, girls weekend in New York City
We went out on the town looking so pretty
Grandkids graduations were next on the scene
Visits to Connecticut grandkids always in between
A trip to Charleston by air, what a joke
Spent the night in the Philadelphia airport, not for old folk
But when we were there we had a great surprise
My sister and boyfriend got married before our own eyes
Medicare came sneaking up on me
But with Silver Sneakers it's a cup of tea
Myrtle Beach in October was a great getaway
We took the car this time for our week long stay
Colonial Williamsburg was on the way down
It's nice to have the freedom to go all around
My Note: I wrote this in 2009 and it looks like I went as far as October and never finished it. . .
Must have gotten "Diverted to Distraction" somewhere along the way.
