2018
It’s almost over, the year is coming to an end
A special time to remember our family and friends
I do it with a jingle, it’s not too hard
For me it's more personal than sending out cards
It also helps me remember what we’ve done
And I’m happy to report it’s been lots of fun
So if you don’t care to know the times that we’ve had
You can stop reading now and I won’t be mad
We wish you The BEST Holidays and a wonderful New Year
Filled with good health, happiness and an abundance of cheer
And now I’ll go on to highlight the year in rhyme
Just like I do time after time

Snow came and went and we did what we could
To get out and snowshoe when conditions were good
I played "hockey mom" to Tucker and we had fun
On a tournament trip that we wished we'd won
We took the auto train to Florida and had a sleeper car
It made Larry happy that he didn’t have to drive so far
The beach and The Villages were our stops
Then again on the train I had the bunk on the top
Cataract surgery for my eye on the right
But before the left I had an unplanned flight
Greta asked me to go to London for a quick trip
With her, Myles, and Hunter, not something to skip
The other eye got done and then Cape Cod on the fourth
The summer is a great time to live in the North
My new passions have become ballet and tap
And I can't leave out the Procreate app
An Alaskan cruise in August, there were twelve of us
We all had dinner at the same table without any fuss
A 100th birthday party for Aunt Harrie in the park
It was held in the afternoon before it got dark
We had news of a baby for Brittany and AJ
We're so looking forward to that happy day
A month in South Carolina, first stop Gerry and Kay's
After a week we had to leave but just for three days
To a special weekend at home we were heading
Where Meg and Aris were having a wedding
Then one more surgery on trigger fingers for me
While all the while Larry is surgery free
It’s been a good year, we’ve been lucky and blessed
Our family has been healthy which reduces the stress
So may we continue this happy trend
And wish you the same, our family and friends
